Happy year of the Rat! Lila was born during at the tail end of the year of the "golden pig". In fact, one of the reasons we had her when we did was because I didn't want to have a little rat running around. I know, I know, what does it matter? But you'd be surprised at how often Chinese people have to tell others their zodiac sign. And I just couldn't imagine our little baby saying "Me? Oh, I'm a rat."
