"baba" means "dad" in Mandarin. Lila started saying "baba baba baba" a couple of weeks ago, but now it seems that she really knows "baba" refers to her dad! When she sees N, she will often exclaim "baba!", but she doesn't say it when she sees me or Lucy. No amount of prodding, however, has elicited what I want to hear most..."mama". Guess she's a daddy's girl after all.
