I wanted to get little Chinese silk outfits for Lila and Arjun...but who has the time? So instead here is a video showing Lila practicing her new skills: cruising and babbling! Lila has been greatly expanding her vocabulary these past few months. She now knows all of the letters of the alphabet, her body parts, mama and daddy of course, and even grandpa, uncle, etc. Other than her signature lion growl, she also does a strange leopard whine (don't know where she got that one). Of course she can't say any of these things yet, but she'll point to the object when you ask her. In the case of her feet or legs, she'll raise them up to show you...so cute!
On the speaking front, I'm convinced that Lila has a language all her own that we just haven't cracked yet. We know that "mem mem" means yummy, and "mei mei" means sleepy. What does "mumu" mean?
