I realized yesterday that I have less than 3 months before the Bun pops out into the world. 3 months! That is 12 weeks. And even less if she decides to make an early appearance (knock on wood).
So, I've been trying to get my butt in gear and start preparing. I've got a list of all the baby stuff I need. An even longer list of the other stuff that needs to happen before she comes. Infant car seat. Stroller. Pediatricians. Birth plan. Maternity leave papers. Insurance questions. Of course, what do I decide to do first? Decorate the nursery. What I've come up with so far is the classic Jenny Lind crib in white, the modern rocking chair in ecru, and the cute (but not too cutesy) blue and white bird decals. Who says nurseries aren't for adults?
