sleepy lila smile
Lila has begun to smile! Its a bit difficult to catch on camera since the smiles are so fleeting, and they usually happen when she's just about to fall asleep or when she's on the receiving end of a kiss. These photos and video are taken of her just before she fell asleep, so she's a bit tired.
I have to admit, motherhood is tougher than I thought, but when Lila smiles, all my bitter I-haven't-slept-in-weeks thoughts melt away. I guess these smiles are comparable to her kicks during pregnancy...both make the difficulties seem much more surmountable.
