N and I drove up to the Mendocino coast to celebrate our second anniversary with a long weekend of R&R, good food, and time to focus on each other and the newest bun. We also spent a beautiful afternoon sitting on the beach, and even caught a glimpse of Obama on his fourth of July float ;)
Meanwhile, Lila spent the weekend getting reacquainted with her dadima and dada! It was our first weekend without Lila and we missed her every minute, but thankfully N's dad did a great job of sending us pictures of Lila every day so we could see how she was doing (yay for the iPhone!) Here she is enjoying a Saturday afternoon with her grandparents! I swear that Lila grew taller in the short three days that we were gone. It was so nice to come back home to our little girl!
As for bun #2, we have scheduled our fetal anatomy ultrasound for July 18, so we will find out if she is a boy or a girl in about 2 weeks!
