Lila has always loved the alphabet, ever since she started crawling around on her alphabet mat and showing where all the letters were. A couple of days ago she started saying the ABC's with us when we read to her from her ABC book! (Actually our nanny Lucy was the one who first noticed this.) She can get up to "E" pretty well, and has mastered the vowels, but the consonants give her more trouble. She's pretty proud of her new skills, and brings me her ABC book several times a day to practice. This definitely makes up for her late walking. Guess she is focusing on mastering her verbal skills first. Thanks to auntie Susan for the ABC book by the way!
