Lucy taught Lila how to meow and woof last night. (The "woof" is more like an "oof".) Of course Lucy had taught her using the Mandarin words for cat and dog, and I didn't think that Lila would also respond if I asked her in English, but she did! Its really interesting to see her learning things, especially with the dual-language development. I guess since she understands "cat" in Mandarin and English, she intuitively understands that we are referring to what the cat does whether we speak in English or Mandarin? I have to admit, Lila's verbal antics crack me up every day. Her current favorite words are "moon" and "up". I can't wait to hear whatever she learns next!
