Lila made a new friend on our walk a few weekends ago. During our walk she kept smiling and pointing, and I didn't know what she was smiling at until I realized that every time we passed a stop sign she would crack up! We now take her out for a spin around the block a few times a week so she can have "playdates" with her new friends. She also smiles and points to the stop sign that she can see from our living room window. Maybe it is the bright red color and the bold font? Lila has always loved letters and graphic designs. Her favorite part of her carseat used to be the "WARNING/ADVERTENCIA" label inside. Maybe she will become a designer like me after all.
As you can see, her favorite skill of the week is pointing -- whether at new friends or at toys she wants us to fetch for her!
