Lila's been learning new words at an amazing pace recently, and in two languages! She knows to point to our noses when asked in English, and will make growling noises when asked "what does the lion say?" She can also point to her ear and pat her belly when asked in Mandarin. And of course she can wave bye-bye (she still loves that one!)
We are working on teaching her how to "high-five" and make elephant noises now.
What I love the most is her joy at being able to do these things. She just lights up with pride. And when we teach her something new, she becomes very still and you can literally see the little wheels turning in her head. Learning in progress! Astounding.
