Since bun #2 will be arriving just a few weeks before Lila's birthday, I decided to hold off on her birthday party until after the new year (thanks to Jenny L for the idea!), when things will have settled a bit. But we also wanted to celebrate her shared birthday with her dada (grandpa Raman). So we took advantage of everyone being here for Thanksgiving to hold Lila's first first birthday party. She looked like a little princess in her poufy dress, courtesy of grandma Minoo (Thanks dadima!), and we all enjoyed chocolate cake while she snacked on avocado. She also got lots of presents, including a great talking drum from her uncle Jason and Jeff, and a super cute yukata from her Aunt Susan and Uncle Masa. Second first birthday party to come in about two months!
